• AUG. 8: An Accordion Book workshop is held at William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Va., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Create a stitch-free collapsing accordion book. Get playful with the paste-paper process and create colorful, textural decorative paper for your book. Then be taken through the steps to build a book model. Finally, problem-solve from your book model to complete your final paste paper accordion book. $45 (members), $50 (non-members).
