• SEPT. 24-26: Installation Art and Creative Play workshop is held at William King Museum of Art, Bristol, Va. from 5-8 p.m. In this workshop, participants learn about installation art and collaborate to create an art installation in the Art Lab. This creative process is facilitated by resident artist Margaret Gregg. Some supplies provided including ceiling hooks, fishing line, miscellaneous hardware, fabric and plastic and paper scraps, adhesives, paints and small tools. Participants may choose to bring additional supplies and tools, including sewing machines. Participants have the option of extra studio time with access to the workspace and tools during business hours Friday and Saturday. $135 (members), $150 (non-members).
