Wednesday, Jan. 22

  • Mother Goose Story time (Ages birth-18 months and caregivers) 9:30-10 a.m. Registration required.
  • Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
  • Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.

Thursday, Jan. 23

  • Mother Goose Story time (Ages birth-18 months and caregivers) 9:30-10 a.m. Registration required.
  • Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
  • Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
  • Spanish-Inglés Conversation (All ages) 6-7 p.m. All language skill levels, converse with Spanish and English speakers. Hablar con hablantes de inglés y español, para todos niveles e edades.
  • Local Author Talk: Richard Hood (Ages 18+) 6:30-7:30 p.m. Hood discusses his writing, reads from his book "Regret the Dark Hour,” plays traditional mountain music and original songs.

Friday, Jan. 24

  • Adult Special Needs (Ages 18+) 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Stories, songs and crafts for adults with special needs.
  • Teen Writing Club (Ages 12-18) 3:30-4:30 p.m. Work on creative writing projects in teen area, learn how to get work published on Library website.

Saturday, Jan. 25

  • Family Yoga (All ages) 10:30-11:30 a.m. Yoga session taught by Alex Muraski, bring own mat if possible.

Monday, Jan. 27

  • Music Morning (Ages birth-5 years & caregivers) 10-11 a.m.
  • Tale to Tail (Ages 5-9 & caregivers) 4-5, 5:15-6:15 p.m. Register for 15-minute time slot to read to trained listening dog.
  • Evening Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 & caregivers) 6:30-7 p.m. Same as Tuesday and Wednesday storytimes, children can wear pajamas.

Tuesday, Jan. 28

  • Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
  • Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
  • Taller Literario / Spanish Literary Club (Ages 18+) 6-7 p.m. Must have at least intermediate skill level, discussions in Spanish of classic and modern Spanish literature, registration required. (Mayores de 18 años) 6-7 p.m. Debe tener al menos habilidades intermedias, discusiones en Español de literatura Española clásica y moderna, se require registro.
  • Teen Advisory Board Meeting (Ages 12-18) 6-7:30 p.m. Teen volunteers discuss teen programs and services at Library, call (423) 434-4349 to join board.
