Wednesday, Feb. 19

  • 2020 Census Job Recruitment(Ages 18+) 3-5 p.m. Info table & Census Bureau representatives set up in lobby to talk about censusjobs.
  • Book Scouts: Black History Reads(Ages 5-8) 6-7 p.m. Registration required.
  • Spanish-InglésConversation(All ages)6-7 p.m. All language skill levels, converse with Spanish and English speakers. Hablar conhablantesdeinglésyespañol, paratodosniveleseedades.
  • African Americans and the Vote (Ages 16+) 6:30-7:45 p.m. ETSU History Professor Dr. Daryl Carter talks about the history of civil and voting rights in the U.S.

Friday, Feb. 21

  • Repurposed Play Day (Ages birth-24 months) 9:30-11 a.m. Play with recycled materials.
  • Teen Writing Club(Ages 12-18) 3:30-4:30 p.m. Work on creative writing projects in teen area, learn how to get work published on library website.
  • Knitting Circle(Ages 13+) 4-5 p.m. Bring personal knitting or crochet projects to work on.

Saturday, Feb. 22

  • Family Yoga(All ages) 10:30-11:30 a.m. Yoga session taught by Alex Muraski, bring own mat or beach towel.

Monday, Feb. 24

  • Music Morning(Ages birth-5 years & caregivers) 10-11 a.m.
  • Tale to Tail(Ages 5-9 & caregivers) 4-5, 5:15-6:15 p.m. Register for 15-minute time slot to read to trained listening dog.

Tuesday, Feb. 25

  • Taller Literario / Spanish Literary Club(Ages 18+) 6-7 p.m. Must have at least intermediate skill level, discussions in Spanish of classic and modern Spanish literature, registration required. (Mayores de 18 años) 6-7 p.m. Debe tener al menos habilidades intermedias, discusiones en Español de literatura Española clásica y moderna, se require registro.
  • Teen Advisory Board Meeting(Ages 12-18) 6-7:30 p.m. Teen volunteers discuss teen programs and services at Library, call (423) 434-4349 to join board.
