Southwest Virginia Cultural Center Kicks Off 2020 with New Art Exhibit

ABINGDON, VA –TheSouthwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace, located in Abingdon, Virginia, opened a new art exhibit. The exhibit features artwork of the eight newest juried members of‘Round the Mountain: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network. The SWVA Cultural Center & Marketplace is home to over 200 juried artisansfrom around the 19 county, four city region of Southwest Virginia. These artisans’ stories feature a variety of mediums, including jewelry, photography, painting, fiber, wood and metal.

The Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace is adjusting its hours until the spring and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. The Center continues extended hours on Thursdays until 9 p.m. for the region’s popular Crooked Road Jam Night.
