MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. — Writer and storyteller Stephen Copeland discusses his passion for sharing stories of authentic faith at Milligan College Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. in the Mary B. Martin Auditorium located in Seeger Chapel.The event is free and open to the public.
Copeland has co-authored nearly a dozen books, helping those in the sports and entertainment industry share their experiences. His first book in his own voice, “Where the Colors Blend,” was published in 2018, and it follows his journey of faith and self-discovery over six years of annual retreats to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Roanoke, Virginia.
“Stephen’s personal story rings true with anyone who has struggled to reconcile the goodness of God with the wreckage in our world,” shared Brad Wallace, Milligan’s campus minister. “His story is one of authentic faith and an act of great hospitality. He offers an invitation to forgo easy answers in favor of a more honest conversation about the roads we are traveling.”
Copeland is a former staff writer and columnist at “Sports Spectrum,” a national faith-based sports magazine, and he has been published in “Christianity Today.”
