JOHNSON CITY, TN — A Virtuoso Piano Competition is held Nov. 16 at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee. The deadline for registering to compete is Oct. 25. Competitors can register online at www.blairacademyforthearts.com/competition.
There are two rounds of competition in three categories (junior high, high school and college) with prizes ranging from $50 to $1,000. The judges are Dr. Junie Cho from Appalachian State and Gregory Wang from Indiana University.
