Volunteers needed at Birthplace of Country Music Museum

August 18, 2020   |   3:30 pm @ online

Volunteers are needed at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, Bristol, Virginia, to assist in the galleries on a daily basis, help in archives and collections, provide curatorial research and exhibit assistance, support special events, assist in The Museum Store, and act as docents for guided adult and school tours at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.

If you’ve got a passion for Bristol’s rich music heritage and want to help, you can attend a virtual volunteer training session Aug. 18 from 3:30-5 pm.

This training – delivered by Zoom – will give you an introduction to the museum and the volunteer program, along with details about how the museum is providing a safe environment for staff, volunteers and visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a volunteer, you will also have many opportunities for continuing learning and training down the line.

For more information on becoming a museum volunteer, contact 423-573-1927 or emailvolunteercoordinator@ birthplaceofcountrymusic.org.
