Amy Bristle
The Paramount Board of Directors announces the appointment of Amy Bristle as the new director of development and community relations at Paramount Center for the Arts.
Bristle brings an extensive background in media, marketing and nonprofit communications to the Paramount. She combines a mix of experience and energy in her work.
She has held leadership roles in corporate communications for national brands including Michelin and AT&T, and provided strategic marketing support to nonprofits and small businesses through her consultancy, ABB Communications. Bristle has also directed communications for major public health and education campaigns in partnership with organizations such as the AARP Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Rady Children’s Hospital.
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Bristle began her career in broadcast journalism and advanced to producing and co-hosting morning shows in regional and major markets. Today, whether behind the microphone, planning a fundraiser, or welcoming a crowd at the Paramount, she brings energy, creativity and passion for people to every endeavor.
Bristle also serves as co-host of the morning show on 98.5 WTFM.
Paramount Center for the Arts is a multi-use performing arts center listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Paramount Foundation, a nonprofit 501©(3) organization owns and operates the theater.
