Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion announces 25 acts for 25 years

In honor of the festival's milestone anniversary,Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, produced by the nonprofit Birthplace of Country Music, announces 25 artists for 25 years -25 artists who will join the lineup for its 25th anniversary celebration in 2026. The event returns to State Street in Bristol's historic downtown Sept. 11-13. The full lineup is released in the New Year.

Recently the festival revealed its top-billed headliner, Sierra Ferrell, setting an exciting tone for what promises to be one of the most memorable editions of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion to date. Today’s announcement continues that momentum with the announcement of 24 more acts – for a total of 25 dynamic and eclectic performances spanning Americana, bluegrass, roots, country and beyond.

The initial Sept. 11-13, 2026 lineup of25 Acts for 25 Years of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunionincludes Sierra Ferrell, The War and Treaty, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, The Del McCoury Band, Braxton Keith, Mon Rovîa, The Creekers, Maggie Antone, Hannah Dasher, Kruse Brothers, Darrell Scott String Band feat. Rob Ickes, Clay Street Unit, Madeline Edwards, Franklin Jonas & The Byzantines, Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers, Kruger Brothers, Larry Keel & Jon Stickley Duo, Scythian, Mason Via, Donna the Buffalo, Big Daddy Love, Holy Roller, Florencia & The Feelingand Reedy River String Band - plus an exclusive, one-time “Bristol Reunion” of one of the festival’s most beloved acts - Acoustic Syndicate.

Since its founding, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion has grown into one of the nation’s most beloved music festivals—an event that honors the past while pushing roots music forward. As the event approaches its 25th year, organizers say the milestone represents not only a celebration of Bristol’s rich music legacy but is also a testament to the region’s enduring creativity, community spirit and deep love for live music. The 2026 edition promises to pay tribute to that history while charting an exciting new course for the next 25 years.

With each purchase of a 3-Day general admission pass purchased in-person at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum Nov. 28 - Dec. 31, guests receive a free ticket for entry to the museum valid through Sept. 18, 2026.
