About the Studio:
Kil’n Time is a paint-your-own-pottery studio. Visitors paint a variety of ceramics and staff then glazes it and fires it in a kiln. You pick your completed project up in a week.
They offer hundreds of pieces to paint – from kid’s piggy banks and figurines to sophisticated dinnerware. Their self-serve paint bar has every color you’ll need to complete your masterpiece. Need some inspiration? They have stamps, stencils, idea books and special glazes to help you out. No reservation is needed, except for groups of 10 or more.
In addition to painting pottery, they offer a fused glass studio where you can create glass pendants, nightlights and more. A resident artist gives you tutorial and then you can let your inner artist loose.
If you and a group of friends are searching for something to do, try a canvas class. Create your painting masterpiece while sipping your favorite bottle of wine (byob). Classes happen every Thursday night from 6-9 p.m.
They also offer birthday parties and field trips, kid’s art classes and more.
During December, they offer a “Jolly Santa” canvas class Dec. 1 and 21 from 6-9 p.m. “Van Gogh Play in the Snow” canvas class is Dec. 7 from 6-9 p.m. “Candy Cottage” canvas class is Dec. 14 from 6-9 p.m. These workshops are $40 per person, which covers all supplies and instructions. Other classes can be found on their website or Facebook page.
All the display pieces in the store are available for sale.
