The Sullivan County Tennessee School System, led by Chuck Carter, director of schools, holds an annual Christmas Card Art Contest for its students.
The winning designs are used as the system’s holiday card and sent to their Christmas list.
Central office staff judges the entries. The winners are recognized at the December board meeting and receive a copy of the card, a matted print of their artwork and a small prize.
This year’s winners are Tilly Haile, a fifth-grader at Rock Springs Elementary School; Teagan Bailey, a seventh grader at Sullivan Central Middle School and Casey Rutley, a 12th grader at West Ridge High School.
