• ONGOING: “Undercurrent – Art Brown” is on display at William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Va. The exhibitis a collection of work meant to critique leadership, or to take note of its absence. Through relief prints made from linoleum cuts combined with overlapping layers of ink printed from hand-set antique letterpress wood type, Brown creates images of dark, sci-fi mechanical creatures as visual metaphors to express emotions when events and actions in the world seem to be going awry. 276-628-5005, www.williamkingmuseum.org
