April 10, 2025   |   7 pm @ Paramount Center for the Arts

Grand Ole Opry inductee and 10-time International Bluegrass Music AssociationEntertainer of the Year, The Del McCoury Bandgraces the stage of the historic Paramount Bristol headlining WBCM Radio Bristol'sFarm and Fun Timeshow at 7 p.m., April 10. Seth Mulder and Midnight Run, a progressive bluegrass outfit out of Gatlinburg, Tenn., round out the bill. Show host Kris Truelsen and hisFarm and Fun TimeHouse Band preside over the festivities, serving up their own flavor of foot-stompin' rhythm and roots.

Even among the pantheon of music's finest artists,McCoury stands alone. From the nascent sound of bluegrass that charmed hardscrabble hillbilly honky tonks, rural schoolhouse stagesand the crowning glory of the Grand Ole Opry to the present-day culture-buzz of viral videos and digital streams, McCoury is the living link. From headlining sold out concerts to music festivals of all genres, including his own DelFest, to appearances on late night talk shows, McCoury admirers are as diverse as country-rock icon Steve Earle and jamband royalty Phish. With sons Ronnie and Rob, his ensemble continues to represent a larger, growing musical community.

Born in the holler of Tennessee's first legal moonshine distillery, Seth Mulder and Midnight Run blend tradition with innovation through genuine songwriting and tasteful arrangements, bringing to life their original music and lost covers like no other in the genre. Combining elements of bluegrass, country, and folk music, their sound resonates with traditional and contemporary audiences alike.

Kris Truelsen has spent the better part of two decades touring across the country, honing his craft as a songwriter and performer. With his latest project fronting theFarm and Fun TimeHouse Band, he leans into the rock 'n' roll side of country music. It's rowdy, loose and unmistakably Truelsen. The band features an all-star lineup including Nick Lawrence (guitar), Rebecca Branson Jones (pedal steel), Sarah Griffin (bass), and Levi Trent (drums).
