The Johnson City Public Library offers multiple events during the upcoming week.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

• Toddler Time(Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45a.m.
• Preschool Storytime(Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 5

• Toddler Time(Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45a.m.

• Book Worms:Mice Skating(Ages 5-8) 4:15-5 p.m. Registration required.

Friday, Dec. 6

• Knitting Circle(Ages 13+) 4-5 p.m. Bring personal knitting or crochet projects to work on.

Saturday, Dec. 7

• Johnson City Christmas Parade(All ages) 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. See the library's float in Downtown Johnson City's Christmas Parade. Find parade route and details athttps://www.jcchristmasparade.org.
• Whoville Village(All ages) 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Visit the library's table at Founders Park pavilion for crafts and family activities.

Monday, Dec.9

• Tale to Tail(Ages 5-9 & caregivers) 4-5, 5:15-6:15 p.m. Register for 15-minute time slot to read to trained listening dog.
• Hour of Code(Ages 8-12) 6-7 p.m. Learn basic coding concepts, held in the Library's second floor computer lab, registration required.
• Holiday Violin Music with Harrington Music Studio(All ages) 6-7 p.m. Violinists play holiday music in Buffalo Mountain Room.
• Evening Preschool Storytime(Ages 3-5 & caregivers) 6:30-7 p.m. Same as Tuesday and Wednesday storytimes, children can wear pajamas.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

• Toddler Time(Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
• Preschool Storytime(Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
• Computer Class: Create with Microsoft Publisher(Ages 13+) 6-7 p.m. Registration required.
• Taller Literario / Spanish Literary Club(Ages 18+) 6-7 p.m. Must have at least intermediate skill level, discussions in Spanish of classic and modern Spanish literature, registration required.(Mayores de 18 años) 6-7 p.m. Debe tener al menos habilidades intermedias, discusiones en Español de literatura Española clásica y moderna, se require registro.
• Gingerbread House Competition(Ages 12-18) 6-7:30 p.m. Create a gingerbread house and win prizes, all supplies provided, registration required.
