The Johnson City Public Library offers a variety of events during the upcoming week.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
- Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
- Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
- Xbox Gaming (Ages 12-18) 3-5 p.m. Check out Xbox controllers and play in teen area for up to one hour.
Thursday, Oct. 10
- Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
- Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
- Spanish-Inglés Conversation (All ages) 6-7 p.m. All language skill levels, converse with Spanish and English speakers.Hablar con hablantes de inglés y español, para todos niveles e edades.
- Book Worms: Goldfish Ghost (Ages 5-8) 6:15-7 p.m. Registration required.
Friday, Oct. 11
- Xbox Gaming (Ages 12-18) 3-5 p.m. Check out Xbox controllers and play in teen area for up to one hour.
Saturday, Oct. 12
- Family Building Day (All ages) 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Drop in with family to build with Legos and other materials.
Tuesday, Oct. 15
- Toddler Time (Ages 18-36 months and caregivers) 10:15-10:45 a.m.
- Preschool Story time (Ages 3-5 years and caregivers) 11-11:30 a.m.
- VA Homeless Programs Assistance (Ages 18+) 12:30-1:30 p.m. VA community outreach social worker will be available to talk with U.S. veterans about short- and long-term housing programs.
- Taller Literario/Spanish Literary Club (Ages 18+) 6-7 p.m. Must have at least intermediate skill level, discussions in Spanish of classic and modern Spanish literature, registration required.Debe tener al menos habilidades intermedias, discusiones en Español de literatura Española clásica ymoderna, se require registro.
