KINGSPORT, TN— Create Appalachia invites the public to celebrate the opening reception ofDigital Art Salon: Rendered Realities – Between Worlds Thursday, Aug. 13, from 6to 8 p.m.at Create Appalachia’s gallery in downtown Kingsport.
This annual exhibition highlights the creativity and innovation of digital artists whose work explores the space between reality and imagination. Featuring artists working across digital illustration, photography, animation, mixed mediaand other digital mediums,Rendered Realities – Between Worldsinvites viewers to experience artwork that challenges perception, expands storytelling possibilitiesand explores new ways of seeing the world around us.
The opening reception provides an opportunity for guests to meet participating artists, learn more about their creative processesand connect with fellow artists, art enthusiastsand members of the community. Light refreshments are served, and most artwork featured in the exhibition isavailable for purchase, allowing visitors to take home original pieces while directly supporting talented digital artists.
The reception isfree and open to the public, but guests are encouraged to RSVP through Eventbrite to help the Create Appalachia team prepare for the event,
The receptiontakes place in Create Appalachia’s gallery space. Guests may enter through the Center Street doors, which open at5:45 p.m.,before the event begins. Free parking is available around the building, along Center Streetand in the Shelby Street Parking Garage.
Donations are appreciated but not required.Create Appalachia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations help support exhibitions, educational programming, and opportunities for artists and creative entrepreneurs throughout the Appalachian Highlands. Guests who are able are encouraged to consider a donation of$5–$15, but everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to contribute.
