Theatre Bristol Announces December Auditions for 'She Loves Me'

Theatre Bristol announces December auditions for the musical“She Loves Me”coming Feb. 7-16 to the Theatre Bristol ARTspace. The community is invited to audition for this award-winning romantic comedy musical inspired by the same story that brought "You've Got Mail" to the screen. In“She Loves Me”love letters and sardonic wit are exchanged to music in a 1930s perfumery.

No preparation is required to audition, and roles are available for men, women and teens.Doors open 30 minutes before the auditions. Auditions are held Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. The audition consists of singing, reading and dancing. No preparation is necessary as musical pieces are provided, but prepared material is also welcome. Auditions also include cold readings. “She Loves Me”opens Feb. 7, and runs for two weekends at the ARTspace, Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m., closing on Feb. 16. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students, and will be available atwww.TheatreBristol.org.

Founded in 1965, Theatre Bristol is the oldest continually running children’s theatre in northeast Tennessee. Its season consists of up to seven productions, as well as a children's camp and other events. Theatre Bristol performances take place in downtown Bristol at the ARTspace, a multi-purpose, black box theatre which seats up to 120, or the Paramount Center for the Arts.
