Bristol Academy of Music opens

December 30, 2019

Bristol Academy of Music opens in January. Enrollment is open for music lessons and classes. Class offerings include voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, Glee Club, Kiddy Keys and adult groups.

Bristol Academy of Music is located at 207 Piedmont Ave, Bristol, Virginia. Owner and operator, Rachel Helton, is a classically trained singer and teaches throughout the Tri-Cities. Helton, along with a team of musicians, will be teaching private and group lessons to students.

Students have the opportunity to take private lessons in voice, piano and guitar. There will be group lessons for ages 6 and older in piano, guitar and ukulele. Adult classes are available in piano and guitar. Glee Club is offered for elementary through high school students who love to sing pop, Disney and musical theater. Kiddy Keys, music exploration for ages 3-5, is offered as a fun way for the youngest musicians to learn and explore music.

Enrollment information and lesson descriptions can be found at the Bristol Academy of Music website www.bristolacademyofmusic.com. Lessons begin Jan. 6.

“I am thrilled to provide Bristol a community for musicians of all ages to learn, be inspired, and perform together. The benefits of music education for our youngest musicians up to our oldest are significantly profound. Music changes lives,” Helton says.
