Goldsleger Exhibit Explores Relationship to Place

January 24, 2022

An exhibition opening Feb. 14 at Emory & Henry College explores the relationship between individuals and place.

Artist Cheryl Goldsleger explores this relationship through paintings, drawings and three-dimensional works in an exhibition that runs through March 12 in the McGlothlin Center Art Gallery. Goldsleger leads a discussion of her exhibition beginning at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 14. The exhibition and the Artalk are free and open to the public.

Goldsleger explores the myriad forces at work upon the landscape and its inhabitants. She offers her viewers unique vantage points from which they might understand these visible and invisible forces at play, suggesting that these are mutually dependent yet in constant states of flux – complex and ever-shifting.
