Museum Festival of Trees Winners

BIG STONE GAP, Va. -. The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park congratulates the winners of the 24th Annual Festival of Trees. Winners were selected based on votes received from Festival of Trees attendees from Nov. 10 to Dec. 31.

Winners:

First Place: “Here We Come A-Caroling”- LifeCare Ambulance Service, Wise, Virginia.

Second Place: “The Joy Of Pepsi”- Pepsi Bottling Company, Norton,Virginia.

Third Place: “Castle Of Dreams”- Jonesville Wal-Mart, Jonesville,Virginia.

Fourth Place: “Nature”- Dogwood Garden Club, Big Stone Gap, VA

Fifth Place: “I Can Only Imagine”- East Park Ave. Baptist Church, Women on Mission, Norton,Virginia.

Sixth Place: “The Grinch”- Clark Family, Big Stone Gap,Virginia.

Seventh Place: “Who Are We”- Leslie Hayden Family, Big Stone Gap,Virginia.

Sixth Place: “Disney Theme”- Coeburn Primary Gifted & Talented, Coeburn,Virginia.

Ninth Place: “Here Comes Santa Paws”- Norma Rich, Pennington Gap,Virginia.

Tenth Place: “A Confederate Christmas”- Sons of Confederate Veterans, Norton & Wise,Virginia.

Tenth Place: “God, Home & Country”- LoveLady DAR, Pennington Gap,Virginia.

Volunteers around the Southwest Virginia region decorated holiday trees, mantels, doorways, and banisters throughout the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park, sharing their talents and holiday spirit with all who visited the site. This year, 82 groups showcased their imagination, creating a truly beautiful collection of displays.
