Special guests include Appalachian folk preservationist and singer-songwriter Sarah Kate Morgan.
The Kody Norris show finds themselves with a growing legion of fans craving the comfort that comes from their retro look, but equally craving dynamic instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics — all of which can be heard throughout their epic new album "Rhinestone Revival." Now playing more than 100 shows a year across the country and around the world, The Kody Norris Show has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, been honored with an exhibit at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, and made appearances at the University of Chicago Folk Festival and RFD-TV's "The Cumberland Highlands Show" and The Bluegrass Trail."
Whether she is calling square dances, playing her dulcimer, or making music and creating art with Appalachian youth, Sarah Kate Morgan lives and breathes the folk traditions on which she was raised. A dulcimer master, Morgan is also a poetic singer-songwriter who has performed and/or recorded with Tyler Childers, Amythyst Kiahand Erynn Marshall & Carl Jones. Her vocal style is influenced by the very best of old-time, countryand gospel, and she carries degrees in traditional music, Appalchian studies, and arts administration from Morehead State University.
