Fundraiser held at Night Owl Circus

April 12, 2026   |   4 pm @ Night Owl Circus Arts

Works-In-Progress — A Fundraising Show is held April 12 at 4 p.m. at Night Owl Circus Arts, Johnson City, Tennessee.

This show is a works-in-progress show — allowing visitors to see drafts of creations as they are broughtinto the world, or refine and remake something already created. The event features artists from Johnson City, Tennessee, and Asheville, North Carolina, with acts ranging from storytelling to acrobatics, and from aerial dance to contemporary dance. They are also featuring this region’s only hair hanging artist — an aerialist who hangs only by their hair.

This performance is raising funds to send three local circus artists to Ireland to attend the Irish Aerial Dance Festival. Attending this festival represents a chance to incorporate new movement styles and apparatuses into our practice, cross pollinate with other artists from across the globe, and offers the chance to perform on one of Ireland's biggest stages. By attending IADF, we are looking forward to an immersive experience to deepen our studies and enhance/enrich the artistic offerings we can bring home to our community.

All funds will go towards festival fees, travel, and accommodation for the artists. If we go over our goal, any unused funds will be donated to Connecting Circus Students Around the World (CSAW)!
