Big Stone Gap, VA.The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park presents the annual Hoots ‘N’ Haints Family Festival Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. Children 12 and under, and their families, are invited to the park for a variety of activities and games.
On Halloween night, all trick-or-treaters are invited to take a break from candy gathering and visit the museum for some ghoulish fun and games. There will be scary stories, a gypsy fortune teller, games, a coloring station, sack races, pick up the pumpkin, the “Haunting on the Hill” attraction and much more. Prizes are awarded for game winners as well as participants.
All children 12 and under will receive enough free tickets to play every game. Hot chocolate will be available all evening.
