• MAY 4:Introduction to Stained Glass: Flowers and Birdsworkshop is held at The Inventor Center, Kingsport, Tenn., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All students make a glass flower and perhaps a glass paperweight. Students learn to gather glass on a punty, manipulate their glass and maintain the correct temperature using the glory hole to reheat glass. Wear natural fibers and bring water. Materials provided.
