• JULY 7-11:William King Museum of Art, Abingdon, Va., holds itsYouth Art Camp.This week’s theme isArt in the Animal World.Make artwork inspired by all the creatures who inhabit the earth; furry, scaly and otherwise. As an exciting precursor for the Worrell Collection of Animal Art opening next year, kids get a chance to create art based on all kinds of different animals. Use various artistic mediums and learn fun animal facts along the way. Take a few nature walks and draw living creatures you see in nature.Camp for ages 4-6 is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is $150.
