JOHNSON CITY, TN - The Johnson City Public Library recently added three new titles to its Traveling Tales: Book Groups to Go service.
New titles include: The Help by Kathryn Stockett, The White Tiger by Aravind Adiga and Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde.
Traveling Tales: Book Groups to Go consists of a tote bag with 12 paperback copies of the same title and a reading guide with discussion questions. The library now has 33 titles in the Traveling Tales collection.
Holly Russo, Adult Services Manager, says, "Being able to check out multiple copies of a title solves a problem for many book groups. All the members can have a copy of the book to read at the same time at no expense." Traveling Tales are checked out by one member of a book club for a period of two months. This gives club members time to read the book, discuss the book, gather the books and return them to the library.
